David Halliday - Consultant


David has worked as a Management Consultant and as a Director in both the public and private sectors, with considerable experience in creating and managing change in both.


A Marketing Professional by background, David has blended this commercial expertise with a passion for performance and how to take it to the highest level through integrated OD programmes. The result is an ability to help individuals, teams and organisations do great things for their customers, their staff and their share/stake holders, working as a performance advisor, change manager, facilitator or coach.


As a coach, David’s focus is on results. He will explore what is the organisation setting out to achieve in its market place, and what this means for the person he is coaching in terms of how do his or her goals and capabilities stack up against what is expected. David’s clients like this commercial, performance driven approach and the way that he stimulates creative strategic thinking to arrive at solutions. They feel stretched and challenged yet stimulated and supported.


As a consultant, he believes that winning means doing something that has not been done before and therefore requires creativity and breaking new ground. If its not uncomfortable, then we are probably doing what has taken us to where we are rather than doing what is needed to take us to where we want to be.


His client list over the years includes many household names from Sony to Microsoft and Dulux to McArthurGlen. More recently he has worked in the energy sector with Vitol; Five Arrows (the leasing arm of Rothschilds); Miele; the Sports and Recreation Alliance; GSK and Biogen Idec and Creston PLC.


He also has extensive experience in the NHS, working with several Acute and Specialist Trusts, in Community and Primary Care and for NHS England. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of a Social Enterprise – First Community Health and Care CIC – delivering community services in the South East.
