Andy

Andy’s career has specialised in talent management development, having led learning & development and talent strategies for well known retail and entertainment brands. His consultancy career has centred on organisational change and leadership & management development projects in both the public & private sector across the UK and Europe.

 

Andy specialises in the development of effective interpersonal skills to help individuals, leaders or teams improve their resourcefulness at work.

 

His coaching focus is directed at using a solution-focused thinking approach to help clients find ways to improve their personal performance and achieve business or professional goals. He has coached senior managers within healthcare, retail, utilities and financial services.

 

Andy brings energy and pace to his work and his approach is a straightforward one - helping people work out what they need, learn how to do it, and then work out what to do next!

 

His first career was in HR management in both public & private sector, where he developed his interest and expertise in training, learning & development. This led to a successful consultancy career until taking senior roles in retail and entertainment businesses as Head of Talent. With a keen interest in education, Andy has also had independent teaching and assessment roles over this time with universities and professional bodies delivering diploma, degree and postgraduate qualification programmes.

 

Andy is an Honours graduate with postgraduate qualifications in HR Management. He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and holds BPS level A&B competence for occupational testing.

 

Andy is a qualified practitioner in Hogan Assessments, Myers Briggs, DISC, Temperament, Interaction Styles and Transactional Analysis and regularly uses these approaches in both organisational development and coaching practice.

 

Currently completing his MSc in Business Psychology, Andy is a member of the Association of Business Psychologists.
